your camp
since 1949 Kinderfreunde – Falkencamp Doebriach is an international meeting point for childeren, youmg people and families. Its individual flair and the friendships which grew there, are a lifelong memory for the participants.
Accommodation
Accomodation will be in your own tents, but it also possible to rent tents, if you don´t have your own. Showers and toilets are placed in two new houses.The camp also offers indoor accommodation for groups and families. We have two houses for groups (10 beds or 15 beds)
Food
The camp´s kitchen offers three meals a day. Breakfest, lunch and dinner are included in the camp fee. (for groups) Vegetarian meals are also available.
Konsum
A small shop placed in the camp area offers drinks, ice cream an other sweets. Adults can drink some coffee or tea. In the evening can adults buy some snacks or drinks in the “HelferInnen – Konsum”. You also find some supermarkets in the Village, only a few minutes footwalk away from our camp.
Handcraft - Center and Playing-Tower
The Handcraft-Center is a paradise for all creative handcrafts with different materials children like to do. The Playing-Tower offers workshops in Media-Creativity and classical games. Games can be rent in the Reading-Games-House. (Of course it is for free)
Sports
Groups can use our hard court for playing basketball or skateboarding and roller-blading. Ping-pong tables, a beachvolleyballcourt and a big soccer field are also placed in the center of the camp. You can also rent a bike for free for a trip around the lake.
Fun on the beach
The camp has got its own beach on a big warm lake (Millstaetter See) five minutes footwalk away from the camp.
Trips
There are a lot of possibilities for excursions near the camp. Hiking on the Mirnock mountain, walk around the lake and go back by ship, a visit in Romans Bath in Bad Kleinkirchheim, an expedition to the stalactite caves of Carinthia, a trip to the Gross Glockner, the biggest mountain of Austria, many old castles and much more.
